What is colocation?
Colocation (server hosting) is a service in which a business places the physical server it owns in a provider's data centre. The hardware remains yours and under your control; the provider supplies the environment around it: rack space, power, cooling, network connectivity, physical security and monitoring. At HostAllow you can start from a single 1U at ₪300 per month and grow to a full rack, across four data centres in Israel, one of them rated Tier IV, with a 3.6kW power allocation per rack and connectivity to several carriers through IIX, the Israel Internet Exchange.
What colocation includes
- Rack space from 1U to a full rack
- Power allocation of 3.6kW per rack, dual feed available
- Cooling and physical security
- Connectivity through IIX and dedicated IP addresses
- Network-level DDoS protection
- Remote Hands for on-site tasks
- Escorted access to your equipment
- 24/7 support in English and Hebrew
Choosing a colocation option
1U – 4U
One or a few servers. You pay for the units you use, a good start for a single server or a small stack.
Half rack
Existing equipment that grows gradually: a defined space, your own power allocation and room to grow.
Full rack
Lower price per unit, physical separation and room to expand without re-planning.

Frequently asked questions
What is colocation?
Colocation means placing a server you own in a provider's data centre. The hardware stays yours; the provider supplies rack space, power, cooling, network connectivity, physical security and monitoring.
How much does colocation cost in Israel?
At HostAllow a single 1U starts at ₪300 per month. The price depends mostly on power consumption and bandwidth, then on space. Half and full racks are quoted to your requirements.
Where are the data centres?
Four sites in Israel: Netanya, Petah Tikva, Tirat Carmel and Kfar Saba. The Kfar Saba site is rated Tier IV.
How much power do I get?
A full rack comes with a 3.6kW power allocation, with dual power feed available.
What connectivity is available?
Connectivity to several carriers through IIX, the Israel Internet Exchange, plus dedicated IP addresses.
Can you handle hardware on site for us?
Yes. Remote Hands covers on-site tasks such as reboots, cabling, swapping a disk or checking indicator lights, on request.
Colocation or a dedicated server?
Colocation fits when you already own servers or need full control of the hardware. If you would rather not buy and maintain hardware, a rented dedicated server is usually simpler.

A short call is enough: what runs on your server today, how much traffic it serves and what you expect to grow. You get a clear configuration and price, without being sold more than you need. Support answers in English and Hebrew.
